Today, ASCO launched a new website, CancerProgress.Net, to highlight the significant progress against cancer in the past 40 years and the research that made it possible. The site's central feature is an oncologist-curated, interactive timeline of milestones in cancer research. The timeline was developed under the guidance of an editorial board of 17 ASCO member oncologists, who include some of the leading experts in the field. It covers advances against 14 major cancer types and in all types of care, from targeted drugs to supportive care.
