100,000 new cases of swine flu in the UK last week

According to the Department of Health, swine flu has been spreading rapidly in the UK. Last week, 100,000 new cases were reported and children 14 or younger were predominantly affected according to CNN. There are currently over 800 patients hospitalized in the UK with swine flu and that number is only going to increase by the fall/winter. How will hospitals deal with the overflow situation? Let's hope that the National Pandemic Flu Service will help alleviate the significant public health burden that we're about to experience this coming winter.
