Here's an upcoming webinar:

How Referenceable Are Your Customers?
Introducing HITR.com - A Social Networking Tool for Benchmarking Hospital IT Satisfaction

Date: Wednesday, August 31, 2011 I Time: 2 p.m. Eastern / 11 a.m. Pacific I Duration: 1 Hour

Selling new business can cost five times as much as retaining old, and a 5-percent increase in customer retention can increase profitability more than five-fold. Nonetheless, efforts to measure and maintain customer retention are often an after-thought in a company's strategy. Customer experience research can be costly and time consuming. More importantly, without comparable competitive data, interpreting product performance based on metrics can often be more confusing than helpful.

This event will introduce HITR.com, a new Web-based tool for connecting healthcare IT vendors with hospitals and healthcare systems. A joint development of Billian's HealthDATA and Porter Research, HITR.com collects brief satisfaction surveys on more than 40 healthcare IT applications and 300 vendors. Providers can use the tool to evaluate potential vendors, while vendors can monitor the performance of their solutions and those of their competitors. Additionally, HITR.com includes the first healthcare-specific social networking platform, allowing vendors to stay better connected with their hospital colleagues.

The presentation will demonstrate how to use HITR.com to:

  • understand customer satisfaction
  • compare performance data with competitors
  • network and communicate with providers and peers
