Track 2: Meaningful Use Phase 1 and Beyond: Real World Case Studies This track will focus on the tactics organizations and eligible providers are executing to comply with the Phase 1 Meaningful Use requirements as well as preparation for Phase 2. Attend to learn from real-world experiences in finding the most strategic path to receiving incentive funding and planning for future challenges.

Track 3: Accountable Care Organizations and Beyond: Moving Toward Value-Based Healthcare
On April 7th, 2011, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed new rules under the Affordable Care Act to help doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers better coordinate care for Medicare patients through Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). According to CMS “ACOs create incentives for health care providers to work together to treat an individual patient across care settings – including doctor’s offices, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.” Accountable Care Organizations are going to have a profound impact on the delivery of healthcare as it shifts the government’s reimbursement model from Fee for Service to one based on quality and efficiency. Sessions in this track will explore the significance of ACOs across the healthcare industry at large and how it will specifically effect your organization.
