Is your physician on Facebook? Maybe you wouldn't know if he/she is on Facebook because that individual may have privacy settings that don't allow search engines to find his/her profile on Facebook.

I know many physicians who use Facebook and I also know many who avoid Facebook like the plague. Social media is still an uncomfortable topic for many physicians who value privacy over the potential benefits associated with an active social presence on the Internet. I know many physicians who have found that through Twitter, they have been able to receive all types of patient referrals. Through Facebook, some physicians have reached new levels of engagement with their patients. 

Does your physician have a website? (you'd be surprised at how many physicians still don't have a website)
