The word "stability" doesn't seem to exist when we're talking about the world of pharmaceuticals. According to the Associated Press, AstraZeneca may be cutting 8,000 jobs by 2014.There was a time when working for a pharmaceutical company seemed to be the "ideal" job for many working professionals. I wonder how those attitudes are changing during these difficult economic times. Some physicians who wish to leave the world may be thinking about a career in the pharmaceutical industry, but how stable are such jobs?
