Online communities for healthcare providers

Online communities are growing for students and healthcare professionals. As the younger generation of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists graduate in this digital age, many of them are accustomed to being active participants on these online communities. Some of these communities are closed to the public, while others are open. However, even these "closed" communities are not truly private, since many posts are starting to appear on public discussion boards and blogs.

If you're a physician, have you heard of Sermo? Sermo is an online community just for physicians.
Click here to join for free, but you must be a physician to join.

Have you also heard of iMedExchange?
