COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AMA Insurance Agency Inc., recently announced its “Take a Trip with Timmy Global Health” contest. Two winners, who are eligible residents, allied health, pre-med, or medical students, will be selected to spend 2-3 weeks with US and developing world medical professionals working to expand access to quality healthcare in Guatemala, Ecuador, or the Dominican Republic. Winners will also receive an iPad 2 with wireless and 3G capabilities, a digital camera with GPS capability, plus an opportunity to blog, share photos and stories of their experiences.
The “Take a Trip with Timmy Global Health” contest is open for entries now through the 15th of January. Entrants are required to submit an original 500 word essay in answer to the contest question; up to ten finalists will be selected to submit a video which may be placed on the contest’s YouTube channel. Two winners will be selected by a panel of judges, and will be announced in early 2012.
