I'll be speaking about social media and CME today here at #med2

I'm at Stanford attending the Medicine 2.0 conference. This afternoon, I will be speaking about the "impact of social media on physician continuing medical education (CME)." My session is this afternoon in LK120 during the 3:15 to 4 pm slot.

The conference is full of energy as different groups are sharing how they are using social media tools to share medical information and foster innovation. Everyone has an iPad or a laptop and they're tweeting, blogging, and sharing information with others. It's the application of social media by social media experts.

Next year, Medicine 2.0 will be in Boston at Harvard Medical School. I'm looking forward to another trip up to Boston. Learn more about the Medicine 2.0 conference here.
