I'm getting ready for the HIMSS conference next week in Las Vegas! This year, we're expecting to see over 35,000 people swarming Vegas and buzzing about health IT. The conversations will be around HITECH, meaningful use, HIEs, CPOE, interoperability, analytics, and more. This year, we're also going to see more emphasis around mobile health (mHealth). I'm planning on spending a lot of time in the exhibit hall learning about some recent advances in health information technology.
