Diet soda causing heart attacks and stroke?

You may have heard that a small clinical study suggested that daily drinking diet soda may increase your risk of heart attack and stroke. If you weren't a daily consumer of these products, then your risk was not affected. Keep in mind that this was a very small study of participants, so it's probably too early to conclude anything at this point.

This interesting information was presented at the American Stroke Association's International Stroke Conference by Hannah Gardener, ScD, of the University of Miami in Florida. You can read about the story here.
