Non-Clinical Jobs on Sermo

I've started seeing more non-clinical jobs posted on Sermo these days. If you're looking for a total change in your career, you may want to take a look at some jobs in medical communications, marketing, consulting, and pharma/biotech. The Sermo job board typically lists clinical jobs, but occasionally you'll see some non-clinical opportunities. If you're a US physician, I encourage you to join Sermo.

  1. Hello,
I am a Professional Masters student in Biotechnology from the University of South Carolina. With courses in biology as well as business, I might make a good candidate for a biotech-marketing, consulting etc kind of a job. I will be graduating in May 2009 and am on a desperate job search. Could you please help me?
    Thanks and Regards

  2. It sounds like you may want to take some business type of courses. To enter the corporate world, it's very helpful to demonstrate that you have strong people skills and management experience.

Nanotechnology is a really hot field right now, so I would also suggest pursuing some courses in that field.
